By creating an account or using SRM Nursing Tutor you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The important one, first: this is a study aid, not medical advice. Every question, explanation and calculator in the app exists to help you prepare for an examination. Nothing in it should be used to make a clinical decision. Always follow your institution's protocols and independently verify any dose or calculation before it affects patient care.
1. Your account
- You need an account to use the app, and the details you give us should be accurate.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share your credentials or let others use it.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- The app is intended for nursing students and qualified nurses, and is not for children under 13.
2. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Copy, record, scrape, republish or resell the question bank or any other content
- Share your account so that several people study from one subscription
- Reverse-engineer the app, or try to bypass its security or access controls
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything containing real patient information
- Disrupt the service or attempt to access another user's data
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, usually after warning you unless the breach is serious.
3. Content and intellectual property
The questions, explanations, and the app itself remain our property. Using the app gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to study with that content. It does not transfer ownership of anything.
Notes you write on questions belong to you. We store them so we can show them back to you, and we delete them when you delete your account.
4. Accuracy of content
We work hard to keep questions and explanations correct and current, checking them against standard nursing texts and current guidance. Even so, syllabuses change, guidance is updated, and mistakes happen. We do not warrant that the content is free of errors, nor that using the app will make you pass any examination.
If you spot an error, please report it — we would rather fix it than argue about it.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn, and some may be switched off temporarily while content is being prepared. Maintenance and outages happen.
6. Payments
The app does not currently charge for access. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing and refund terms will be published before any charge is made, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.
7. Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can delete your account and data at any time — see Delete your account.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including examination results, lost study time, or any clinical decision taken in reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
